Marcela Mulholland believes in using strong ideas and teamwork to make big changes happen. A dedicated climate advocate, she has built her career around turning bold insights into actionable policy. Before joining Clean Tomorrow, Marcela served as the Deputy Director of Partnerships at the Carbon Removal Alliance, led stakeholder outreach at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED), and served as the Political Director at Data for Progress, a progressive think-tank and polling firm. Marcela knows how to bring people together—and how to make ambitious goals a reality.

Early in her career, Marcela worked as a climate policy analyst at The Century Foundation and held internships with the NAACP’s Environmental and Climate Justice Program and the Sunrise Movement. In 2024, she was named to GreenBiz’s 30 Under 30 list in recognition of her leadership in climate policy.

A proud South Florida native, Marcela holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and sustainability studies from the University of Florida. Marcela lives in Brooklyn, NY.
