Senior Innovation Policy Analyst

Claire Cody believes in using new technology to make clean energy easy to use everywhere. Before joining Clean Tomorrow, Claire served on the stakeholder engagement team at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED), where she worked across hydrogen, carbon management, industrial decarbonization, and long-duration energy storage programs. Earlier, as a Science and Technology Policy Fellow with the American Association for the Advancement of Science, she advised Senator Chris Coons on climate, energy, and science and helped coordinate the bipartisan Senate Climate Solutions Caucus. Claire leverages her scientific expertise to bring a sharp, solutions-focused perspective to every challenge.

A chemist by training, Claire holds a Ph.D. from Yale University, where she researched electrochemical materials for hydrogen production. She believes that clean energy solutions demand innovative science and effective policy, and is dedicated to bridging the two.
