Annabel Williams believes that clean energy deployment is essential to lowering bills and meeting climate goals. An environmental and climate advocate from an early age, Annabel grew up in Washington, DC and continued engaging in community-based environmental and utility-justice efforts while co-leading the Sunrise Movement chapter at Brown University.
Her interests in climate and energy policy led her to internship opportunities across the for-profit, government, and non-profit sectors. With Bracewell’s Policy Resolution Group (PRG), she gained insight into the energy regulatory and legal landscape. She worked as a legislative intern with Senator Sheldon Whitehouse’s (D-RI) DC office, enriching her knowledge of federal legislation development. Annabel strengthened her energy policy research capabilities and knowledge while interning with the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law and as a Clean Energy Infrastructure Deployment Intern at the Clean Air Task Force (CATF). Annabel initially joined Clean Tomorrow as an intern and is now a Junior Analyst, providing research and analysis support to the organization’s various programs.
Annabel holds a B.A. from Brown University in International and Public Affairs. She wrote her senior honors thesis on residential heat pump uptake and the electricity market in Europe, bridging her interests in geopolitics, electrification, affordability, and the role of policy in technology adoption.
